New Cricket Players Wanted

Richmond Union Cricket Club (RUCC) is the City of Yarra's largest cricket club based in the heart of cosmopolitan Richmond with easy access by trams and train. The club prides itself on being competitive and inclusive, catering to the needs of all cricketers; from senior turf two day players to one day cricket (LOC) 'weekend warriors' as well as juniors at every level. We also have an over 60's senior side. Currently there's five senior cricket sides ranging from A-Grade two day turf to Limited over Cricket (one day) synthetic and 15 plus junior sides from under 10's to under 18's, including two junior girls cricket teams!

 


Richmond Union participates in the Woolworths Cricket Blast program (previously Milo into Cricket) for five to eight year old's just beginning there cricketing journey (program starts in early November). The Woolworths program is an introduction to cricket focused on having fun and getting children interested in sport, there are no skill requirements, their taught everything.  Speak to/email Dean Caia for timing/details (see our contact page).

 

With the 2019/2020 Season approaching we've seeking players for all grades (seniors/juniors) and we're always especially interested in new players for our senior turf/synthetic sides. Our 2018-19 season was very successful, with three senior sides reaching finals and our 4th eleven winning their respective grand final.
